The tricky Paris spring

“en avril: ne te dérobe découvre pas d’un file4/6/2012
En mai: fait ce qu’il te plaît”

A very handsome French man said to me over coffee yesterday as I remarked that the heaters had once again been allumés and i shivered looking over the rainy scene on rue de la Roquette.

These last two weeks in Paris have been more than ideal on the weather scale. The second the sun came out the layers came off and all of Paris could be seen sprawled out on some cobble stone pedestrian street, pelouse(lawn), or lounging around on the teras. But as quickly as it came the weather was kind enough to remind us that we were FOOLS to how  we could look forward to 5 more months of this weather. So to all you pairsiennes: be wary for the next few weeks and don’t store you heavy coat quite yet though I know you are impatient to make room in your closets for those summer threads.

About Emilie

I'm a small girl with big ambitions and very little common sense it seems. I decided after I graduated from college that I would move from my little city of Lafayette Louisiana to the raging monster city that is Paris. In 4 months of planning I have now uprooted everything I had in an amazing town to live in a truly wild place where I have no idea WHAT I am going to do. But isn't that the fun of it all. So here is cheers to getting lost, breaking hearts, starving, and many wonderful adventures that come along with finding yourself.
