Things I decided not to pack and now regret.

My favorite Jeans
My Slippers
A Yoga mat or beach towel
Louisiana sausages and meats
My favorite Cookbook
Community Coffee
My French Press
My big, heavy yellow Jacket and a scarf

The weather here is so cold and People are still wearing winter jackets! And now i’ve got a full week of rain coming my way = (.

Oh well at least I’ve got my girlfriends coming to visit from Germany! The really sad thing about being a tourist bayouself (intentional) is that you get all these pictures of great things but none of you with them. So sad.

About Emilie

I'm a small girl with big ambitions and very little common sense it seems. I decided after I graduated from college that I would move from my little city of Lafayette Louisiana to the raging monster city that is Paris. In 4 months of planning I have now uprooted everything I had in an amazing town to live in a truly wild place where I have no idea WHAT I am going to do. But isn't that the fun of it all. So here is cheers to getting lost, breaking hearts, starving, and many wonderful adventures that come along with finding yourself.

If I did not have an ‘out of comission’ ankle—I would mail the coffee and a pair of kids slippers to you!!
Stay warm. I would be miserable without a heavy coat. I can’t remember–do you dislike cold weather as much as Michelle and I? Is it warm enough in the apartment?
    Later girl.
