So despite everyone’s encouragement, I got lost on the Metro. But being the wonderful understanding person she is Sarah waited for me. I actually learned a lot about the layout of Paris making my way up to what should have only been 6 metro stops.

I had a wonderful time with Sarah and sweet little Quetta. What a sassy little girl, I loved it. Sarah brought me to the Château Vincennes  and then to  the Parc Floral de Paris. What a cool park! they had so many flowers that just smelled so amazing. Anna played in the cherry blossoms, with a little coaxing from Sarah because we both wanted pictures of her in them.

So today i rode the metro and a Bus. I however did not buy my wonderful french drink. Oh well there is always tomorrow. Over here it seems there is always time leftover. I like that feeling.

About Emilie

I'm a small girl with big ambitions and very little common sense it seems. I decided after I graduated from college that I would move from my little city of Lafayette Louisiana to the raging monster city that is Paris. In 4 months of planning I have now uprooted everything I had in an amazing town to live in a truly wild place where I have no idea WHAT I am going to do. But isn't that the fun of it all. So here is cheers to getting lost, breaking hearts, starving, and many wonderful adventures that come along with finding yourself.

Time leftover when you are enjoying yourself is a great feeling!
You will master that Metro before you know it. Be safe and enjoy.
