Going out

Went out tonight. Around 7 i opted to get lost on my way down the street. I took the scenic rout. To my surprise I didn’t have to turn at all to get to the club i was aiming for. Haha. Well in the time that I was walking in circles (at seven oclock in broad daylight where it was safe mind you) I experienced that stereotypic French male behavior of cat calling. So it is true that when you walk past a group of French men they shout out things like, “qu’elle marguerite” or “c’est vraiment joli ça!” I have no opinions as to whether I enjoy this or not but it really is something interesting about their culture.

This evening at the bar a man gave Sarah Savoy and I each a rose. How very Parisien!

About Emilie

I'm a small girl with big ambitions and very little common sense it seems. I decided after I graduated from college that I would move from my little city of Lafayette Louisiana to the raging monster city that is Paris. In 4 months of planning I have now uprooted everything I had in an amazing town to live in a truly wild place where I have no idea WHAT I am going to do. But isn't that the fun of it all. So here is cheers to getting lost, breaking hearts, starving, and many wonderful adventures that come along with finding yourself.
